Recently, all I see on Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat is the long line at Popeyes and pictures of Popeyes new Southern Fried Chicken sandwich. Popeyes started a war on Monday morning with Chick-Fil-A to promote the new Southern Fried Chicken sandwich. Of course, everyone followed the trend and voted between Popeyes or Chick-Fil-A.
On my timeline, it currently looks like Popeyes is in the lead of Chick-Fil-A and winning. However, I don’t care who wins because I’m not into spicy food. I don’t care too much for fast food. I haven’t had the original chicken sandwich for $1 from McDonald’s in years. In almost ten years, I have not been in the line of Popeyes, Burger King, or McDonald’s. I just recently had Chick-Fil-A nuggets for the first time in July. I felt that Chick-Fil-A nuggets with sauce are overrated. However, my family and friends recommended that I try the chicken sandwich from Chick-Fil-A before I say it’s overrated.

Who will win? – I have no clue because I’m not voting. I don’t eat spicy foods. Not to mention, I don’t want to waste money on a dry chicken sandwich with pickles. I would rather take my money and spend it on Central Kitchen + Bar located on Woodward in Detroit, Michigan. Home of the best Turkey and Buttermilk Fried Chicken burger ever.
